Past Hyde Street Pier is Golden Gate Promenade 4 miles of scenic walk near the Presidio. The Presidio was once an army base and is now pert of the National Park Service. Check out the historic Civil war cannons or just walk along the bay and take in the views of the Golden gate Bridge-some of the best. Be sure to visit the Palace of Fine Arts and the Exploratorium.
The Presidio Information Center is open every day from 10am to 5pm . It is located in Building 102 on Montgomery Street.
